While Original Paris Swing has been enchanting audiences across Europe for more than two decades, it was Woody Allen who officially put their music on the map. During the filming of “Midnight in Paris,” Allen’s team discovered the jazz trio performing in Le Marais and the rest, as they say, is history. The band’s song Recado was prominently featured on the film’s soundtrack, which went on to win a Grammy Award in 2013.

Led by Spanish guitarist Ramon Galan, Original Paris Swing performs in a gypsy jazz style, drawing influence from famed Romani guitarist, Django Reinhardt. Their timeless French appeal has made them a fixture in the Parisian music scene, regularly performing at weddings and special events set at Hôtel Ritz Paris, Chez Maxim’s, and Saint James Club, in addition to La Bastide de Gordes and Le Mas des Poiriers in Provence.

The trio’s vintage-inspired sounds evoke a sense of old-world romance, making them ideal live music for wedding ceremonies and receptions alike. Their repertoire includes French classics like La vie en Rose, Nuages, or Ménilmontant alongside a selection of bossa-nova, Latin, and iconic pop covers. Whether they’re serenading an intimate garden party or a formal event, Original Paris Swing always delivers lively jazz rhythms with an unmistakable elegance.
